Our winemakers, Pasha and Olga, discovered their love for wine when going for weekend trips to escape the busy Bay Area on the weekends and have planted some vines in San Jose foothills before realizing they'd need more space - a lot more space - and relocating to Santa Cruz mountains where they planted several acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
The name Opportunity Vineards is rooted in the owner's philosophy that everything and anything is possible.
The first vintage has been harvested in 2021 and we have made 5 amazing vines. The vineyard is on track to quad ripple in production in the coming years, once those gopher affected plants start producing.
Everything we make is organic and made with lots and lots and LOTS of love and passion!
